In the article, several stories of Jafar Jabbarli, a great master of words, who had special services in the development of our artistic and philosophical thinking, were involved in the research. Autograph manuscript copies of the stories "Aslan and Farhad", "Mansur and Sitara", "Inspector" in the writer's personal archive kept at the Institute of Manuscripts named after ANAS Muhammad Fuzuli were re-read, and a number of inconsistencies, distortions, reductions and additions were revealed during the comparative research. Textological research was conducted on the basis of comparison of manuscripts and books published in different years. The obtained savings are grouped under relevant sections. The textual studies of the rich manuscript sources of Azerbaijani literature and the compilation of scientific-critical texts by textual scholars pay special attention to the creativity of the classics. In this sense, the creativity of the outstanding literary figure has been studied in different periods of time, and his works have been included in publications many times. Jafar Jabbarli's published drama works, as the creator of our dramaturgy and stage, are currently being compared with manuscript copies and studied. Unfortunately, certain inconsistencies were found when researching "Aydin", "Conquest of Edirne", "Ogtay Eloglu", "In 1905" and other dramas kept in the writer's archive. As a result of the research, it can be noted that when there are several manuscript copies of a work, each of them was read and the last version could be distinguished. We hope that the re-examination of the manuscripts of Jafar Jabbarli and other classics will be useful in the future for a more perfect publication of their works.
