The Problem of Plot in Fiction in the Context of Literary Criticism
Ulduz Kahramanova

The plot-internal plot principle does not split plots, but rather combines and unites plots around a single plot line. Therefore, in contamination, the combination occurs due to the subordination of the dependent plot to the main plot. At this time, the dependent plot loses many of its components, and a new form and content is created. In fact, the creative plot-internal plot principle is not spontaneous, but a premeditated, purposeful and conscious creative event. This conscious creative event depends on the strength of the justification during the transition from the main plot to the dependent plot.

The plot-internal plot principle is also expressed in literary criticism by the term contamination. Contamination is, in fact, a complex artistic technique. The national poetic tradition has a great influence on creative contamination. Mechanical contamination occurs spontaneously (something happens by itself without being influenced by anything - U.K.). Therefore, contamination is a creative event with general regularities. Contamination is the rebirth, reshaping of a traditional form.

Contamination is realized by the principle of the narrator (in written epic works - U.K.) telling a plot within a plot. That is, in oral folk literature, it is realized by the principle of the narrator (in oral epic works - U.K.) telling a tale within a tale. During the decline of the storytelling tradition, contamination also disappears. According to literary critics, there are methods of contamination. The methods of contamination are the ability to bring together connected plots.

Contamination is not the joining of any plot together. That is, the narrator cannot create a plot connection (the connection of the plot - U.K.) by connecting any plot together. Plot connection is the joining of related plots. At this point, the methods of contamination are formed. That is, it is the joining of plots that are in harmony with each other, plots that have a thematic closeness in themselves. From this perspective, internal contaminations arise within the plot.
