WESTERN EXPERIENCE IN MUSEUM WORK
Pakiza ALMAZOVA

The article is dedicated to the application of innovative methods used in Western museums. It reflects mass educational experiences in modern museum work. Among these, the concept of visual anthropology is presented in more detail.

"Visual anthropology" is considered as a new technology in museum experience. It explores and analyzes cultural events based on photography, video, and sound constructions in the museum. It is a modern principle that aims to ensure more interactive and immediate realization of museum experiences. Visual anthropology ensures the visual exploration of exhibited objects' material and spiritual aspects and their relationship with people. This method aims to enrich the museum exhibition experience.

Visual anthropology seeks new ways to enrich and make the museum experience more interactive by using various technologies. This creates opportunities for museums to re-evaluate and re-research. Photography, video, and sound constructions allow museum visitors to explore and analyze cultural events in more detail, providing an interactive and enjoyable experience. The application of such technologies allows museum visitors to establish closer connections with objects and spaces, resulting in a deeper understanding and cultural enrichment.

The article also considers the directions of exhibition, education, and communication within the framework of museum trends. Implementation of cultural projects, historical reinterpretation and modeling, use of interactive exhibits, the principle of interactivity, the impact of audio-visual tools on the audience, active engagement with contemporary art, use of information technologies, working with live storytelling, activities of in-museum children and family centers, and the design of the museum as a kind of special space are presented as key criteria in the experience of Western museums.
