Muznib's non-published poems in archival materials
Aynura Mammadova

There is a rich heritage of Aliabbas Muznib, a prominent representative of 20th century Azerbaijani literature, prose writer, poet, and publicist. It was possible to obtain initial information about the prominent representatives of our literary history thanks to the Muznib archive. These archival materials of Muznib include his biography, letters, documents related to his personality, works, manuscripts published in various years and in various press organizations, collected for research, books and pictures given to him by individual individuals. According to archival materials, there is a number of information about Muznib, who has spent about 30 years of creative life, wrote hundreds of poetic works and articles, and was the editor of ten newspapers and magazines, and published more than 60 books. In all areas of his activity, Muznib put the national interests of the homeland and the people above all else, and sacrificed his life for this cause and was subjected to repression.During the years of repression, his exquisite books, approximately 40 in terms of original composition and translation level, were removed from various libraries and destroyed, and it was forbidden to talk about him and his work. Muznib's diverse research as a literary critic and scholar also contributed to the history of culture. One of the tasks facing literary criticism today is to study the literary and social activities of intellectuals who played an important role in the life of the people and were subjected to repression through extensive research. We hope that these poems, which we have uncovered on the basis of archival materials, will help to study the poet's work in more profound aspects in the future.
