Ogtay Salamzadeh in his novel “The Secret of Ages” recreated the images of Nizami Ganjavi and his contemporaries. The work is a large-scale epic novel. It covers the period from his grandfather to the end of the life of his son Muhammad. Although the novel presents the atmosphere of Ganja of the 12th century, palace intrigues, attacks of kings, robberies, conflicts, historical events, the revival of Ganja, it mainly presents the life and habitat of Nizami and his contemporaries. The novel received a positive assessment from the famous Nizami scholar Rustam Aliyev and was highly appreciated by the readership.
