Period of Azerbaijani literature in 1960-1970 years is characterized as a particular period in the history of Azerbaijani literature. The activity of the newspaper in two decades gives a rich material for close observation of the formation period of the literature. The pages of the newspaper “Adabiyyat ve injasanat” (“Literature and art”) of 1960-1970 years reflect common view of the problems which requires individual investigation, illuminate expression of social and literary problems of journalism and relations of reader and literature of the time.
