Gulam Mammadli – is the founder of annals in Azerbaijani literature and national press of the XX century. Investigation of social and literary activity of “Molla Nasraddin” satirical magazine occupies a special place in Gulam Mammadli’s creativity. From this point of view the author of the article gives much attention to Gulam Mammadli’s life and creative activityas an author of scientific-philological books, annals, hundreds of journalistic, scientific, political and artistic articles, feuilleton and memoires.
