It is investigated in the article the process of preservation and development of the national-spiritual values in the “Edebiyat ve Incesenet” (“Literature and Art”) newspaper 1960-1970th. Ashug’s creative activity, the national holidays and rituals as well as the classical literary heritage are the subjects of the given article.
