The article discussed possible impact of development of Information and Communication technologies on literature. The attitude of the Azerbaijani and Russian writers and critics on the notion of “Internet ltireature” is brought to attention. The article also discusses the changes to be brought to the literature by the development of the high technology, positions on new style of writer-reader relations. Considering the approaches on this topic, the author tries to define the targets of literature.
