The problem of migration and the struggle for identity in “China Men”

The article discusses major aspects of “China Men”, the second famous work after “The Woman Warrior” written by Maxine Hong Kingston. The identity struggle, as well as migration problems of male family members of Kingston have been analyzed by using the original examples from the related book. The article investigates the identity crisis of Chinese men due to the historical data presented by M. Kingston in her “China Men”. However, the article tends to examine artistic style of the author in accordance with the presented historical information.
