The article deals with the life and works of Ahmed Fakihi, one of the thinkers who lived in the 13th century. The author touches upon the study of many sources regarding A.Fakihi and his menhybes (narratives) reflected in these sources. It has also been mentioned the content and idea of his two known masnavis. Examples from both masnavis are presented. Different aspects of A.Fakihi from his contemporaries are also noted in the article. Moreover, this article describes the simplicity of the language, especially its meter and rhythm. It clarifies the ways how to reunificate with the God within the framework of mystical death according to Sufi views and many other theories and hypotheses in this regard. Some mystical definitions which have overcome a centuries-old path and come down to us are also analyzed. The author pays special attention to the wise thoughts related to the poet given in various sources. The article also sheds light on some contraversial ideas about A.Fakihi. Author presents examples from the work “Chaharname”. The main idea of the work is explained in detail. The article investigates the reasons of writing of his main work “Kitabi Evsavi Mesajidis-Sherife”. The attitude of poet toward birth and death is also considered. His views on religious dogmas and human inner world are cleared up. The concept of the Man and the God is also examined. The article deals with the poet’s ability of skillfully describing the places where he travelled.
