Centuries-old reign of fairy-tales over human consciousness

This article discusses one of the directions of oral folk art – a fairy tale, a literary genre, but rather, as a task to identify the effect of a fairy-tale on the reader and listener, the impression left behind, also to determine the important role of the fairy-tale in psychological science. Each fairy-tale bears a certain psychological effect; it is for this reason that it managed to preserve its originality in different cultures distinctive from each other. The fairy-tales have found their symbolic reflections, the main human problems – archetypal spiritual contradictions and values.
