The National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi has been publishing a series of "Quintuple" since 2004 ("Risale" ( Treatise) the journal of scientific research, "Sharq" (East) the collection of translations, "Gaynag" (Source) the collection of sources, "Khazina" (Treasure) the collection of catalogues, "Majlis" (Ceremony) the collection of ceremonies). One of these collections, "Risale" research journal publishes scientific papers in the field of literary studies and museology.
The Nizami Museum integrates two areas. It functions as a museum- a cultural institution, as well as a scientific research institute - the house of science. In the Middle Ages, all scientific works and treatises were called "risale". Many of the works that transmitted to future generations by the title of "risale" by our ancestors, who created our history of science, are of great importance even today. Publishing a research paper in "Risale", we also hope that the articles of this collection will become serious scientific facts.
The journal "Risale" is published twice a year (spring and autumn) and covers researches relating to philology (Azerbaijani and world literature, literature theory, literary analysis, criticism, textuality) and art criticism (museology).
"Risale" journal of scientific research is in the list of periodicals recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission on Philology and Art Studies. In 2019, it was included in the "Journal of Publications" of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Registry no. 4216). At the same time, "Risale" journal has been included in EBSCO international electronic database since 05 April 2018 (Contract # 46516).
