The given article touches upon the creative relations of the outstanding Russian poet S. Yesenin with Azerbaijan, working Baky, the poetical works created in our republic, the new tendencies in his poetry and a wholesome influence of Baky environment on him. Later the author gave a special attention to the festival of poetry devoted to the 121th anniversary of the poet which had a place on the 4th of September, 2016 in Merdekan.
