I.Y.Krachkovsky is the first orientalist investigated new and classic Arabic literature divorcing from each other. Article is dedicated to Krachkovsky’s researches about new Arabic literature from XIX century up to his period and analyzes his major research works. Also article is about his creative relations with his contemporary Arabic poets and writers.
