The article discusses the life and literary activity of Zeynal Khalil (1914- 1973), the prominent Azerbaijani poet, playwright, public and cultural figure. It is also mentioned the importance of studying works of Zeynal Khalil, as a perfect example of the development stage of Azerbaijan National poetry.
