An ideological struggle between “old” and “new” literature in Azerbaijan in the first decades of the twentieth century

The article explains the reasons for the pressure due to changes in political and ideological relations in Azerbaijan at the beginning of the 20th century, which was reflected in culture and literature. The article mentions the factors that make up the new ideology's aggressive attitude to the old heritage and its place in the literary debate of that era. The article also discusses the ambivalence of the press of that time to our national moral values as our tar, mugham, alphabet and classical heritage. It has been concluded that the reason for this was the aggressive policy of the Communist Party which wanted the arts to serve the ideology of the time and effectively influenced every person and the people as a whole.
